Philadelphus ‘Belle Etoile’

A superb philadelphus or ‘Mock Orange’, which flowers in early summer with one of the most delicious scents of the plant world, reminiscent of orange blossom. This one has large, single white flowers, flushed maroon at the centre.

Care Tips

Prune after flowering, cutting some of the flowered shoots back to younger, new growth which will carry more flowers the following year. One or two main stems can also be cut to the ground.
