Invaluable for its glorious, brilliant amethyst flowers that come so early in the year, before the leaves to coincide with tulips. And with pruning, you can keep this quite compact, ideal for any medium sized – or larger garden. We’ve just planted one in our Dutch Yard.

Chose planting position carefully as they dislike being moved. Mulch well in the spring . Restrict pruning to any dead, damaged or diseased branches.
